Amy Cinnamon is a Portrait Artist based in Miami Beach, FL. A Graphic Designer by trade, Amy creates elegant, lifelike portraits in Adobe Illustrator. With each portrait her goal is to capture the organic likeness of her subject while maintaining the characteristics of a traditional cartoon. Using clean lines and vibrant colors, Amy has created an instantly recognizable style. Amy draws most of her inspiration from music, specifically her love of Hip Hop and has caught the attention of many icons in the Hip Hop world. She’s drawn portraits of Ice Cube, Rza and Flavor Flav and collaborated on a Limited Edition skateboard deck with 90s Hip Hop group, Leaders of the New School. Her diverse portfolio also includes Pop Culture Icons including David Bowie, Amy Winehouse and Marilyn Manson. In 2015, she partnered with the A3C Hip Hop Festival in Atlanta and created digital promo ads of featured artists and in 2016 she exhibited at two Native Tongues Tribute Art Shows in New York City. She is currently a member of Chuck D’s Artist Collective, mADurgency and is published in Chuck D Presents This Day in Rap and Hip-Hop History. Amy is passionate about her work and believes everyone is connected though art and music. Through her art, she hopes to bring people together and create opportunities for dialogue and mutual appreciation. Her work is currently on display at Mr. Kream Ice Cream Lounge in Wynwood, Miami.
